Inbound Call Handlers - Perth (Scotland)

Pay rate: £13.80 per hour + holiday pay on top of that

Roles: Call Handlers

Contract length: 6 months (potential to extend/go permanent)

Address: Perth, PH2

Parking: Free parking on site

Onsite for initial training, then hybrid working thereafter.

Shift pattern will include 1 full weekend shift every 7 weeks (8am-6pm - with shorter shifts and rest days in week before/after), 10 x late shifts (12-8pm) over a 14-week period, 10 x 8am-4pm shifts over a 7-week period. All other shifts would be 9am to 5pm.

The roles:

These roles are similar to a switchboard - they will direct the calls to the correct area of the business - to enhance the customer experience & save customers from bouncing around the system, reducing failure demand in our frontline team.The calls are an average of 2 mins - approx. 100 per day. - the person must understand the customer demand and direct the customers to the correct area.There will be a set of questions (tool) to direct the calls - this tool is being built and will tell the person which demand is directed to which route.The person will also be required to demand capture so this can be analysed.Must have excellent communication skills/ customer service and empathy and the ability to utilise the system.There are no data protection questions asked at this stage as this will be verified by the end team.

The role is full time, to start ASAP and paying up to £750 Umbrella per day (insode IR35)

The role:

We are looking to bring in an interim Head of Communities and Adult Social Care Finance to cover a 3 month gap from the existing post holder leaving and the new post holder starting in August.

Duties:

Strategic Finance Business Partner support to the Directorate of Communities and Adult Social Care.

Line management of:

Finance Business Partner x 2Accountant x 1Client Finances Manager x 1

Qualifications:

CCAB (or equivalent) - Fully qualified - ideally 5 years post qualification experience.

Experience:

Strategic Finance Business Partner for Adult Social Care (significant)

Working Arrangements:

Flexible. No fixed requirement to work in the office a set number of days per week. Estimate 1-2 days per month.Will need to attend Civic Office on Day 1 to collect laptop/security pass and complete IT induction and on final day to hand back laptop/security pass etc.Rate: £650 - £750 per day, inside IR35Start Date: ASAP

Eden Brown are seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to join a dynamic Further Education College on a full time interim basis.

This is a key role in the finance team, providing critical support to senior leadership with timely, accurate financial analysis and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with ESFA funding requirements and other regulatory bodies
* To be responsible for producing highly accurate College Management Accounts including completion of all balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis. Ensuring all control accounts are reconciled and routine balance sheet reconciliations are carried out. Retaining control and accuracy of the Colleges Assets and Liabilities. Liaising with the Head of Finance for board reports and key risk and opportunities.
* To prepare, analyse and distribute meaningful monthly budget holder statements, load budgets and re-forecasts into the system and report back to the Head of Finance any known risks or overspends.
* To meet a portfolio of budget holders periodically to review and provide financial support and training. To provide support or arrange financial training to Colleagues as necessary.
* To support the Payroll Officer with the monthly Payroll and Pensions processes and provide cover as appropriate.
* To assist with and take ownership of aspects of the annual budget setting and financial planning process as directed by the Head of Finance.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve financial processes and reporting

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Proven experience in a similar role within the education sector (FE/HE preferred)
* A recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
* Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
* A proactive approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Availability to start at short notice
