We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Herefordshire - TM - CP/CIN Team. As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families in the local community.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertaking assessments and implementing child protection and child in need plans Working collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and other professionals to provide support and interventions Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interventions and actions taken Contributing to the continuous improvement of services through reflective practice and feedbackEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration Demonstrated experience in child protection and child in need work within a social care setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseloadAdditional requirements and benefits:
