We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lancashire - QSW to join our Child and Youth Justice Service team in Burnley. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable children and young people, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Conducting assessments and creating care plans for children and young people in need of support Working closely with families, schools, and other agencies to provide holistic care and intervention Attending court hearings and representing the best interests of the children and young people Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences Providing emotional support and guidance to children and young people in challenging situationsEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker (QSW) registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Demonstrated experience in working with children and young people in a social work setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professional practice and ethicsAdditional requirements and benefits:
