We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lancashire - QSW to join our Child and Youth Justice Service team in Burnley. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable children and young people, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments and creating care plans for children and young people in need of support
  • Working closely with families, schools, and other agencies to provide holistic care and intervention
  • Attending court hearings and representing the best interests of the children and young people
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to children and young people in challenging situations

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker (QSW) registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children and young people in a social work setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
