We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Hinckley Family Help team in Leicestershire. As a key member of our Qualified Social Work field, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support and intervention to families in need.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Manage a complex caseload of families, conducting assessments and implementing care plans Provide expert guidance and support to junior team members, offering supervision and training as required Work collaboratively with partner agencies and stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to family support Attend case conferences and court hearings, representing the best interests of the families under your care Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery through feedback and participation in team meetings

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England Proven experience in a similar role within a statutory social work setting Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice guidelines in child protection and family support Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions in challenging situations
