Job Summary:

Luton Borough Council is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead their Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) service. This role is crucial in ensuring timely and effective triage, decision-making, and safeguarding interventions for vulnerable children and young people across Luton.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Lead and manage a team of social workers and MASH officers in line with council policies

Ensure safeguarding referrals are processed promptly and appropriately

Maintain strong multi-agency partnerships to support joint decision-making

Provide supervision, guidance, and performance management to staff

Oversee Section 47 and Section 17 referrals and ensure compliance with statutory duties
