We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our team in Luton for the DTM MASH position, offering a competitive rate of £42.41 per hour. As a member of the team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families in need.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks faced by children and families.
  • Developing and implementing care plans to support the well-being of vulnerable individuals.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to provide holistic support and intervention.
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of children.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in accordance with regulatory standards.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Work (QSW) status and registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection, MASH, or a similar social work setting.
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills to evaluate complex situations effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with service users, colleagues, and external agencies.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
