Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialist dietetic assessment, treatment, and advice for patients referred to the Dietetics department, including those with renal conditions.
Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team across the Dietetics and Renal services.
Deliver evidence-based nutritional care and interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
Support patients with complex nutritional requirements, both inpatient and outpatient.
Contribute to the development of care pathways and patient resources.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with Trust and HCPC standards.
Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and service development initiatives.
Requirements:
HCPC Registered Dietitian
Previous Band 6 Dietitian experience (NHS or equivalent) desirable
Experience in renal dietetics is highly advantageous
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team

Role Summary:
We are seeking a HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientist to join the Haematology and Transfusion team at University Hospitals Dorset. The successful candidate will be based initially at Poole Hospital, with the expectation of also covering the Bournemouth site following training.
You will contribute to the delivery of a high-quality diagnostic service in Haematology and Transfusion, ensuring timely and accurate analysis for patient care across both acute sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialist diagnostic tests in Haematology and Blood Transfusion.
Ensure all procedures comply with UKAS, MHRA, and Trust quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of test results and participate in internal/external quality assurance schemes.
Adhere to protocols related to infection prevention and control, patient confidentiality, and data security.
Participate in the full shift rota after induction (including nights, weekends, and bank holidays).
Shift Pattern:
Weeks 1-2: Monday to Sunday, 09:00-17:30
Subsequent Shifts:
Early/Late: 08:00-20:30

The postholder will be responsible for the application, removal, and maintenance of a wide range of casts, splints, and orthopaedic appliances for both adults and children. This is a patient-facing role requiring technical proficiency and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply a variety of plaster casts, synthetic casts, splints, and other orthopaedic devices in accordance with consultant and clinical staff instructions
Safely remove casts and ensure skin integrity post-removal
Monitor and maintain stock levels of casting materials and ensure equipment is clean and safe
Provide support to clinicians during orthopaedic clinics
Offer advice and reassurance to patients regarding their care and the application/removal of devices
Ensure accurate clinical documentation is maintained
Adhere to trust infection control and safety procedures
Essential Requirements:
Experience working as a Plaster Technician in an NHS or similar healthcare setting
Proficiency in application/removal of both plaster of Paris and synthetic casts
Awareness of infection control, skin integrity, and cast care
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Desirable:
Relevant plaster technician qualification or in-house plaster training certificate
Experience in trauma and elective orthopaedic settings
Previous experience in a Band 5 role
