Join our dedicated Family Safeguarding Team in Surrey as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) on a maternity cover basis. We are looking for a passionate and committed individual to support vulnerable families, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive outcomes for children. In this role, you will work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to assess and manage complex cases, providing high-quality interventions and support to families in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and adherence to safeguarding policies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local authority standards. Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to enhance professional development.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England (SWE). Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
