An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Advance Practitioner to join a busy and supportive Locality Team in Leeds.
Role DetailsPosition: Advance PractitionerTeam: Locality TeamLocation: Leeds, LS14 6JDPay Rate: £40 per hourContract: Agency / OngoingAbout the RoleAs an Advance Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting high-quality social work practice while managing a complex caseload. You will provide guidance and mentoring to social workers, contribute to decision-making, and ensure that children and families receive effective and timely interventions.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage complex Child in Need, Child Protection, and Public Law casesUndertake assessments and develop effective care and support plansProvide practice leadership, coaching, and support to social workersContribute to strategy meetings, case discussions, and court proceedingsWork collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of childrenEnsure all case recording and reports are completed to a high standardRequirementsSocial Work England registrationSignificant post-qualifying experience within Children's ServicesStrong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and court processesExperience supporting, mentoring, or supervising social workersExcellent assessment, communication, and analytical skillsBenefitsCompetitive rate of £40 per hourSupportive team environmentOpportunity to influence and develop best practiceOngoing contract with potential for extensionInterested candidates are encouraged to apply with an updated CV for immediate consideration on S. or call me on 020 815 28935
