An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Advance Practitioner to join a busy and supportive Locality Team in Leeds.

- Contract: Agency / Ongoing
About the Role
As an Advance Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting high-quality social work practice while managing a complex caseload. You will provide guidance and mentoring to social workers, contribute to decision-making, and ensure that children and families receive effective and timely interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex Child in Need, Child Protection, and Public Law cases
- Undertake assessments and develop effective care and support plans
- Provide practice leadership, coaching, and support to social workers
- Contribute to strategy meetings, case discussions, and court proceedings
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of children
- Ensure all case recording and reports are completed to a high standard
Requirements
- Social Work England registration
- Significant post-qualifying experience within Children's Services
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and court processes
- Experience supporting, mentoring, or supervising social workers
- Excellent assessment, communication, and analytical skills
