An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker to join the Locality Team at Lincolnshire County Council on an ongoing agency contract.

About the Role

As a Social Worker within the Locality Team, you will work with children, young people, and families to safeguard and promote their welfare. You will manage a varied caseload, undertake assessments, develop care plans, and work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage a diverse caseload of children and families.Complete Child and Family Assessments, Child Protection enquiries, and Children in Need work.Develop and review care and support plans.Prepare reports and attend court proceedings where required.Build effective relationships with children, families, and multi-agency professionals.Ensure all work is completed in line with statutory guidance and safeguarding legislation.Maintain accurate and timely case records.RequirementsSocial Work England registration.Significant post-qualifying experience within Children's Services.Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and court processes.Experience managing complex caseloads within a Locality or Children's Team.Excellent assessment, communication, and analytical skills.Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.BenefitsCompetitive pay rate.Ongoing agency contract with the potential for extension.Supportive and collaborative team environment.Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families.Professional development within a well-established local authority.
