Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Child Practitioner (Non Case Holding) to join the Child Protection Team at Cheshire West & Chester Council.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner to provide practice leadership and professional support within a busy Child Protection Team. As a non-case holding Lead Child Practitioner, you will focus on supporting social workers, improving practice standards, providing mentoring and guidance, and ensuring high-quality outcomes for children and families.
You will work closely with Team Managers and practitioners to strengthen decision-making, promote reflective practice, and ensure statutory responsibilities are met.
Key Skills Required:
Extensive experience within Child Protection, Safeguarding or Assessment TeamsStrong knowledge of statutory safeguarding legislation and children's social care practiceExperience coaching, mentoring and supporting social workersAbility to provide practice leadership and quality assuranceExcellent assessment, analytical and report writing skillsStrong communication and multi-agency working abilitiesSocial Work England registration requiredEssential Requirements:
