Locum Occupational Therapist - 0-25 Adaptations

Eden Brown Synergy are recruiting for a Locum Occupational Therapist to support the 0-25 Adaptations service at Gateshead Council. This role focuses on reducing waiting lists by providing timely assessments and adaptations for children and young people.

Location: Gateshead Council, Civic Centre, NE8 1HH
Pay Rate: £27.49 per hour

Main Purpose of the Role
To provide occupational therapy input specifically for adaptations for children and young people aged 0-25, helping to reduce waiting times and ensure timely support. You will be responsible for assessing needs, recommending equipment or adaptations, and liaising with families, carers, and relevant professionals.

I am recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist in the Powys area. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a supportive team within a rural area known for its strong communities and beautiful surroundings.

You must have experience of equipment and adaptations and fieldwork OT role.

Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Child Protection Advisor to join Haringey Council.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Chairing Child Protection Conferences and ensuring effective multi-agency participation.
* Reviewing and evaluating child protection plans to ensure they are outcome-focused and compliant with statutory guidance.
* Providing independent scrutiny and challenge to ensure high standards of safeguarding practice.
* Offering expert advice and support to practitioners and managers on complex safeguarding cases.
* Identifying trends, risks, and areas for service improvement through audit and quality assurance activity.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and inspection frameworks.

Working Pattern:
* Hybrid working

Pay Rate:
* £45.20 p/h Umb

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years' experience within Child Protection or safeguarding services
* Experience chairing Child Protection Conferences or in a similar QA/Advisory role
* Social Work England Registration
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, statutory guidance, and best practice
