We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our team in Portsmouth as a CAFCASS/Family Court Adviser. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting children and families involved in the family court system, ensuring their voices are heard and best interests are represented.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to provide recommendations to the family court Attending court hearings and presenting evidence to support your recommendations Working collaboratively with other professionals, such as social workers, legal teams, and healthcare professionals Advocating for the rights and welfare of children, ensuring their safety and well-being are the top priorities Providing support and guidance to families throughout the court process

The essential qualifications and skills for this position include:

Qualified Social Worker with registration with Social Work England Experience working within the family court system or with CAFCASS is highly desirable Strong assessment and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload

Additional requirements for this role may include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle, as travel within the Portsmouth area may be necessary.
