Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to join Reading Borough Council's Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and experienced Social Work Manager to lead a dedicated team, ensuring high-quality practice, effective safeguarding, and positive outcomes for children and young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and provide professional leadership to a team of Social Workers within the Children with Disabilities service.Provide regular supervision, guidance, and support to ensure high standards of social work practice.Oversee complex assessments, care planning, reviews, and safeguarding activity in line with statutory requirements.Promote child-centred, strengths-based practice while ensuring positive outcomes for children and families.Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, families, and professionals to deliver effective support.Monitor performance, drive service improvements, and ensure compliance with local and national policies.Requirements:
Significant experience working within Children's Social Care.Previous Team Manager experience within a Children with Disabilities service is desirable.Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures, statutory frameworks, and social work practice standards.Registered with Social Work England.Apply now or get in touch for more information with your CV on or call me on 020 815 28935
