We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safeguarding & Reviewing CP Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Bradford. This pivotal role involves ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people within our community. As a CP Coordinator, you will lead the safeguarding process, conducting thorough assessments and reviews while working collaboratively with various stakeholders to implement effective safeguarding strategies.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Coordinating Child Protection conferences and reviews, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Conducting risk assessments and developing safeguarding plans tailored to individual needs. Collaborating with social workers, health professionals, and education staff to promote best practices in safeguarding. Providing training and support to staff and partners on safeguarding policies and procedures. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of safeguarding interventions and making recommendations for improvement.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding within a social work context. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to safeguarding. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
