We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safeguarding & Reviewing CP Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Bradford. This pivotal role involves ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people within our community. As a CP Coordinator, you will lead the safeguarding process, conducting thorough assessments and reviews while working collaboratively with various stakeholders to implement effective safeguarding strategies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating Child Protection conferences and reviews, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Conducting risk assessments and developing safeguarding plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Collaborating with social workers, health professionals, and education staff to promote best practices in safeguarding.
  • Providing training and support to staff and partners on safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of safeguarding interventions and making recommendations for improvement.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding within a social work context.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to safeguarding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively.
