As a Senior Adult Safeguarding Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and coordinating safeguarding adult investigations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice guidelines. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to assess and manage risks effectively. Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on safeguarding issues. Developing and delivering training and support to enhance safeguarding practices across the organization. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring all safeguarding concerns are documented appropriately.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in adult safeguarding and social work practice. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
