Join our dedicated team at the Springvale Office in Staffordshire as a Social Worker / Senior Practitioner within our Duty Team. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality support and intervention for children and families in need. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with service users and other professionals. Providing support and guidance to junior staff and students, promoting best practices within the team. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with local and national standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and working collaboratively with various stakeholders.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals.
