Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Team Manager to join the Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team at Stockport Council.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated Children with Disabilities Team, ensuring high-quality statutory services are delivered to children and young people with complex needs and their families. You will provide effective leadership, supervision and support to social workers while promoting a child-centred approach and driving positive outcomes.
As Team Manager, you will oversee complex cases, provide management oversight on assessments and care planning, ensure statutory timescales are met, and work closely with partner agencies to safeguard children and support families.
Key Skills Required:
Previous Team Manager experience within Children's ServicesExperience managing a Children with Disabilities (CWD) TeamStrong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and statutory children's social care legislationExperience supervising, mentoring and developing social workersExcellent leadership, decision-making and performance management skillsStrong communication, assessment and multi-agency working abilitiesAbility to oversee complex cases and support high-quality practiceSocial Work England registration requiredEssential Requirements:
