We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Family Support & Protection Team in Tower Hamlets. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and supporting vulnerable children and families in the community.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Undertaking assessments of children and families to identify risks and develop appropriate support plans Providing direct intervention and support to families in crisis situations Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for children and families Supervising and supporting less experienced social workers within the team Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and other relevant meetings

The essential qualifications and skills for this role include:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding work Strong assessment and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload
