Tower Hamlets - Sr. SW - Family Support & Protection Team
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Family Support & Protection Team in Tower Hamlets. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and supporting vulnerable children and families in the community.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Undertaking assessments of children and families to identify risks and develop appropriate support plans
- Providing direct intervention and support to families in crisis situations
- Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
- Supervising and supporting less experienced social workers within the team
- Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and other relevant meetings
The essential qualifications and skills for this role include:
- Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration
- Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding work
- Strong assessment and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload
