Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the First Response Team at Trafford Council.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced frontline team, responding to new referrals and safeguarding concerns. You will undertake timely assessments, make threshold decisions, manage risk effectively and work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure children receive the appropriate support and protection.
Key Skills Required:
Experience within First Response, Duty, Assessment, MASH or Safeguarding TeamsStrong knowledge of statutory children's social care legislation and safeguarding practiceExperience completing statutory assessments and managing complex referralsKnowledge of Section 17 and Section 47 processesExcellent communication, report writing and multi-agency working skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentSocial Work England registration requiredEssential Requirements:
Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalentRegistered with Social Work EnglandPrevious experience within Children's ServicesStrong knowledge of statutory safeguarding legislation and children's social care practiceBenefits of working with Eden Brown Synergy include:
