Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the First Response Team at Trafford Council.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced frontline team, responding to new referrals and safeguarding concerns. You will undertake timely assessments, make threshold decisions, manage risk effectively and work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure children receive the appropriate support and protection.

Key Skills Required:

  • Experience within First Response, Duty, Assessment, MASH or Safeguarding Teams
  • Strong knowledge of statutory children's social care legislation and safeguarding practice
  • Experience completing statutory assessments and managing complex referrals
  • Knowledge of Section 17 and Section 47 processes
  • Excellent communication, report writing and multi-agency working skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Social Work England registration required

Essential Requirements:

  • Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Previous experience within Children's Services
  • Strong knowledge of statutory safeguarding legislation and children's social care practice
