We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Wrexham - ATM - Looked After Children team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to children and young people who are in the care system.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for looked after children. Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people. Advocating for the needs and rights of looked after children within the care system. Providing emotional support and guidance to children and young people in challenging situations. Participating in case conferences, court hearings, and reviews to ensure the welfare of the children.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience working with looked after children and young people. Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify needs and risks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
