As a subject specialist in Motor Vehicle training, you will play a vital role in the success of the colleges apprentices. You will plan, deliver, and assess high-quality training while providing personalised support to both apprentices and employers. Youll carry out regular workplace reviews, ensure apprentices stay on track for successful completion, and support them through to End Point Assessment (EPA).
In addition, you will play a key role in the growth and promotion of the Motor Vehicle apprenticeship provision, working closely with industry partners to meet sector demands and ensure programme relevance and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and assess Motor Vehicle apprenticeship training, both on-site and in the workplace.
- Support apprentices throughout their programme with regular reviews and progress checks.
- Work collaboratively with employers to ensure training is aligned with industry needs.
- Guide apprentices through to successful completion and EPA.
- Contribute to the development and marketing of the Motor Vehicle apprenticeship offer.
- Maintain accurate records of progress and assessment in line with quality standards.
- Stay up to date with sector developments, ensuring curriculum and delivery reflect current practices.
About You
- Qualified to at least Level 3 in Motor Vehicle or a related discipline.
- Assessor qualification (TAQA/A1 or equivalent) essential.
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
- Proven industry experience and strong understanding of apprenticeship standards.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to working with learners, employers, and colleagues.

You will be SWE registered as a Qualified Social Worker, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
