An exciting opportunity has become available in Liverpool Adult Services for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to cover a vacancy following the departure of a permanent team member. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and the chance to work in a well-established, supportive local authority setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of adults with complex care needs
Undertake Care Act assessments, safeguarding enquiries, and Mental Capacity Act work
Contribute to multi-agency meetings and collaborative care planning
Work in line with statutory responsibilities and local authority procedures
Maintain accurate case records and documentation
Essential Requirements:
Social Work qualification (BA/MA Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent)
Social Work England registration
Substantial post-qualification experience in Adult Social Care
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation (Care Act, MCA, DoLS, etc.)
Ability to manage a full caseload independently
