Join Royal Greenwich as a Senior Practice Educator!
We are looking for a Senior Practice Educator to support the implementation of the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) programme and mentor Social Work Degree Apprentices within Health and Adult Services in Greenwich.
Key Responsibilities:
?? Support & Assess NQSWs: Work collaboratively with line managers to ensure NQSWs meet the Professional Capability Framework, KSS, and SWE standards.
?? Mentor Social Work Degree Apprentices: Provide support, guidance, and HEI (Higher Education Institution) links.
?? Deliver Professional Development Workshops: Facilitate individual and group learning to enhance social work practice.
?? Quality Assurance & Audits: Conduct audits (including direct observations), analyze findings, and improve best practice standards.
?? Moderation & Best Practice: Contribute to internal/external moderation processes and ensure consistency in casework & ASYE implementation.
?? Practice Education Support: Guide social workers supporting students on placement.
?? Teaching Partnership Work: Engage in Teaching Partnership initiatives to enhance workforce development.
?? Cross-Service Collaboration: Work with Children's Social Work Practice Academy to align quality standards across ASYE programmes.
?? Facilitate Learning Culture: Promote continuous professional development through mentoring, coaching, and reflective supervision sessions.
?? Induction & Supervision: Deliver a comprehensive induction for NQSWs and lead group reflective supervision.
About You:
? Qualified Social Worker with SWE registration.
? Practice Educator Qualification (PEPS 2 or equivalent) is essential.
? Strong experience in mentoring, coaching, and assessing NQSWs and apprentices.
? Experience in developing & delivering training for social workers.
? Knowledge of ASYE, KSS, PCF, and SWE Standards.
? Strong quality assurance, auditing, and analytical skills.
? Ability to build a learning culture and drive continuous improvement in social work practice.
