We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) to join the AMHP Hub in Oldham on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Work as part of a two-person team within the AMHP Hub.
Undertake Mental Health Act (1983) assessments in accordance with legal frameworks and best practice.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary professionals and partner agencies.
Provide clear documentation and decision-making to support the assessment process.
Ensure assessments are carried out with a focus on dignity, rights, and person-centred care.
Requirements:
Current AMHP qualification and approval to practice.
Registration with Social Work England.
Demonstrable experience of undertaking MHA assessments.
Strong communication and risk assessment skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Offer:
Competitive hourly rate of £40.
Stable, full-time working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
