We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Sefton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of adults in need of support and intervention, ensuring their well-being and safety.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Undertaking holistic assessments of individuals to identify their care and support needs Developing care plans in collaboration with service users, their families, and other professionals Providing expert advice and guidance to support individuals in achieving positive outcomes Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver effective care and support services Participating in safeguarding procedures to protect vulnerable adults from harm or abuse

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and developing care plans for vulnerable adults Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users and stakeholders Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in adult social care

This is a part time role of 4 days per week, Monday - Thursday although the college could be flexible with days.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality lessons in childcare and teaching assistant topics, including but not limited to child development, safeguarding, and classroom support techniques.
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, resources, and assessments tailored to the needs of Level 2 students.
* Provide one-on-one support to students, offering guidance and feedback on their academic progress.
* Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback to help them succeed.
* Contribute to the overall development of the curriculum and ensure that it meets industry standards and college policies.

Ideal Candidate:
* A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) or equivalent experience in teaching.
* A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
* Strong knowledge of the Level 2 Childcare and Teaching Assistant curriculum.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
