Sefton Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Adult Social Care team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of adults within the community, supporting independence and improving quality of life through effective occupational therapy interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct holistic assessments of adults with a variety of needs, including physical disabilities, long-term conditions, and age-related issues.

Develop and implement person-centred care plans and interventions.

Provide expert advice on equipment, adaptations, and manual handling.

Work in collaboration with health and social care colleagues, service users, and families.

Contribute to safeguarding assessments and promote wellbeing and independence.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in line with statutory and departmental requirements.

Requirements:
Qualified Occupational Therapist, HCPC registered.

Experience working within Adult Social Care or a similar setting.

Strong assessment, report writing, and communication skills.

Sound knowledge of relevant legislation including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act.

Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
