Bradford Council is currently seeking a committed and experienced Fostering Social Worker to join their dedicated team supporting foster carers and vulnerable children across the region.
About the Role:
As a Fostering Social Worker, you will play a key role in recruiting, assessing, supporting, and supervising foster carers, ensuring that looked-after children are provided with safe, nurturing, and stable placements.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete Form F assessments for prospective foster carers
Offer supervision and ongoing support to approved carers
Ensure all statutory checks, visits, and reviews are carried out
Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to deliver best outcomes
Promote permanence and stability for children in care
