We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Lancashire Adoption Recruitment & Assessment Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the adoption process by recruiting and assessing prospective adopters to provide loving and stable homes for children in need.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting thorough assessments of prospective adopters to ensure they meet the necessary criteria and can provide a safe and nurturing environment for children. Working closely with adopters to prepare them for the adoption process, offering guidance and support throughout. Collaborating with other professionals, such as social workers and healthcare providers, to gather information and make informed decisions regarding placements. Participating in recruitment events and activities to attract potential adopters and raise awareness about the adoption process.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in adoption services. Registration with Social Work England and a valid DBS check. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments in complex situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of individuals.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Lancashire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to vulnerable adults at risk of harm or abuse.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the level of risk and develop appropriate safeguarding plans. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, service users, and their families to ensure the best outcomes for vulnerable adults.
