Lancashire - Safeguarding Adult's Service Part time
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Lancashire Safeguarding Adult's Service on a part-time basis. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults in our community.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Conducting assessments to determine the needs and risks of adults at risk of harm or abuse
- Developing and implementing care plans to safeguard and support vulnerable adults
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to provide holistic support
- Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments
- Providing advocacy and support to empower adults to make informed decisions about their care
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with a valid registration with Social Work England
- Demonstrated experience in safeguarding vulnerable adults and conducting assessments
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to adult safeguarding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users and stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced and challenging environment
