Eden Brown is working in partnership with a Housing Association to recruit for a Head of Governance and Risk based in Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Head of Governance and Risk to embark onto the organisation and join a successful team to be responsible ensuring effective risk management and to achieve a high standard of corporate governance.


Key responsibilities:
* To provide a high standard of corporate governance, to offer clear guidance and direction housing regulations such as, The Companies Act, The Charities Act.
* To uphold all governance registers and the associated policies.
* To constantly review the organisations governance structures and different arrangements, to make sure appropriate levels of responsibility, accountability and overall effectiveness.
* To guarantee a risk based internal audit and control assurance approach.

Candidate requirements:
* Qualified or part qualified Company Secretary or demonstrable experience in a regulated sector.
* Able to working effectively with boards, committees, partners and stakeholder groups.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
