Role Overview:
We are seeking a Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist to join inpatient services across hospital sites. The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team, supporting the safe and effective use of medicines for inpatients. Flexibility to cover multiple units is preferred, though single-site interest will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical pharmacy support to inpatient wards.
Optimise patient medications through review, monitoring, and advice.
Participate in audits, governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
Support junior pharmacy staff and contribute to team development.
Ensure compliance with professional and organisational standards.

Requirements:
Previous hospital pharmacy experience at Band 7 level (inpatient).

The successful candidate will support the delivery of a professional, high-quality mortuary and post mortem service, ensuring compliance with HTA regulations, Trust policies, and Coroner requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with and perform hospital and Coroner's post mortem examinations
Prepare and reconstruct deceased patients following post mortem
Maintain mortuary facilities, equipment, and infection prevention standards
Ensure compliance with Human Tissue Authority (HTA) regulations
Support body receipt, storage, identification and release processes
Liaise sensitively with clinical teams and bereavement services
Maintain accurate documentation and mortuary records
Participate in on-call rota where required
Essential Requirements
Proven NHS experience as an Anatomical Pathology Technician
Experience assisting with hospital and Coroner post mortems
Knowledge of HTA standards and mortuary governance
