We're seeking an experienced Mosaic Finance Systems Specialist to support key transformation and improvement projects within Reading Borough Council's Social Care Systems team.

You will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising the Mosaic Finance module, ensuring seamless integration with core systems including E5 (Finance) and NEC DM (Document Management). This role will provide critical system configuration, functional testing, and support during a period of major organisational transition and system upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily support and configuration of Mosaic's Finance moduleAnalyse and document financial data flows between Mosaic and E5Maintain financial reference data (e.g. suppliers, service types, budget codes)Manage invoice matching, certification, and payment cyclesConduct functional and UAT testing for system upgrades and integrationsProduce documentation and support knowledge transfer across the systems teamAssist with system reconfiguration related to the BFfC transition to RBC and the Rapid Improvement ProgrammeSupport the upcoming Mosaic system upgrade, ensuring data integrity and successful integrationCollaborate with Adult Social Care digital transformation teams to embed new processes

Essential Experience & Skills:

Proven hands-on experience with Mosaic or similar social care case management systemsStrong knowledge of social care financial processes including invoicing and payment cyclesBackground in system configuration, structured testing, and data validationExperience supporting finance system interfaces (preferably with E5)Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

Previous experience in a local authority or public sector environmentFamiliarity with SQL, UAT coordination, or business analysisKnowledge of E5 or NEC Document Management
