We are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join the South Neighbourhood Team in Bolton. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed social work professional with strong assessment, planning, and safeguarding skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting Care Act assessments
Developing strength-based support plans
Undertaking Best Interests Assessments (BIA) and capacity reviews
Leading on and contributing to safeguarding investigations
Completing reviews of care and support plans
Essential Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
Minimum 2 years' experience in a neighbourhood team OR 3+ years' experience in adult social care
Strong knowledge and experience of relevant legislation and practices
Local to Bolton (or based within a commutable distance from Bolton, Bury, Wigan)
Ability to attend the office or conduct visits at short notice
Able to commit to hybrid working pattern (50/50 split after first 4 weeks)
Additional Information:
Full-time office-based work is expected for the first 4 weeks for induction and integration
Ongoing hybrid working model (post-induction)
Initial 3-month contract with potential for extension
