Liverpool City Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Adult Social Worker to join the Fiveways Locality Team within Adult Social Care. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a well-established local authority and support adults within the community through person-centred, strengths-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out Care Act assessments and reviews

Work collaboratively with service users, families, and professionals

Develop and implement care plans that promote independence and well-being

Undertake safeguarding enquiries and manage risk effectively

Maintain accurate and timely case records

Apply legislation including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, and associated statutory guidance

Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration

Minimum of 2 years' post-qualifying experience in Adult Social Care

Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks

Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively

Commitment to high-quality service delivery and professional development
