As a Qualified Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with foster families, children, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for those in care. Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and young people in foster care and developing tailored support plans. Conducting home visits and regular reviews to monitor the welfare and progress of children in foster placements. Providing guidance and support to foster carers, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge to meet the needs of the children. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to implement safeguarding procedures and promote the well-being of children. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local authority policies and procedures.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
