Residential Support Worker - Short Breaks Service
Location: Barnsley
Contract: 3 months
Hours: Up to 37 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Early (07:00-14:30), Late (14:00-22:00), and Waking Night Shifts
Weekend work required
Barnsley is currently recruiting up to 3 Residential Support Workers to join their Short Breaks Overnight Service for children and young people with additional needs, including complex health conditions, learning difficulties, and disabilities.
This is a home-based role providing care and support tailored to each child's individual needs in a safe, nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality care and support to children with complex needs
Supporting routines and activities during early, late, and night shifts
Working weekends as part of a rota
Creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment
