Working Pattern: Hybrid - minimum of 2 days per week on-site (subject to service needs)
Essential Requirements
Minimum of 2 years experience working within an Adult Mental Health team in a Local Authority setting
Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Safeguarding, and Mental Capacity Assessments
Experience using the Liquidlogic case management system
Social Work qualification and current registration
Additional Information
Council IT equipment will be provided and must be collected in person from Hounslow House on your first day.
Hybrid working is available, although attendance in the office may increase depending on service demand.

Walsall Council is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join the Emergency Duty Team (EDT), providing out-of-hours statutory social work services across both children's and adult's services.
This role involves responding to urgent referrals outside of normal working hours, managing crisis situations, and working in partnership with multi-agency professionals to safeguard vulnerable individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to emergency referrals involving children, young people, and vulnerable adultsUndertake risk assessments and safeguarding interventions in complex and high-risk situationsMake timely, sound professional judgements in line with statutory responsibilitiesProduce clear, factual, and high-quality case recordings within required timescalesWork collaboratively with partner agencies to manage and reduce riskRequirements:
