Job Advert - Qualified Social Worker
Location: Bournemouth - East Office (Boscombe)
Team: Adults Community Team
Rate: £32.14 per hour (Umbrella)
Working Pattern: Full-time, Office/Community Based (Monday to Friday)
Contract: Temporary

Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole Council is seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join their Adults Community Team based in Boscombe.

This is a frontline role requiring full-time office/community presence, supporting vulnerable adults in the local area. The role focuses on safeguarding, complex casework, and applying relevant legislation, particularly the Care Act and Court of Protection processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake Care Act assessments and reviews

Manage safeguarding concerns, including cases involving self-neglect

Carry out work relating to the Court of Protection

Liaise with service users, families, and multi-agency professionals

Support the development and implementation of care and support plans
