We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join the Reablement Team at London Borough of Bromley on a locum basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support individuals in regaining independence and achieving personal goals through tailored interventions and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out Occupational Therapy assessments in service users' homes
Recommend and arrange standard equipment and minor adaptations
Work closely with reablement senior support workers to plan and monitor interventions
Triage new reablement cases and manage caseload effectively
Assess and provide specialist equipment, including seating solutions
Complete manual handling assessments and implement necessary adjustments
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
Current HCPC registration
Previous experience in a reablement or community setting
Excellent assessment and communication skills
Ability to start within 2 weeks of appointment
Additional Information:
Rate: £32.00 per hour (candidates must agree to rate upon submission)
Expenses: Mileage reimbursed for visits (excluding home-to-office) work Oyster cards available
