Hackney - Senior OT - Adult Social care £36.57PH
Hackney Council is seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join its high-performing Adult Social Care team. This is a supervisory role within the Occupational Therapy Service, offering the opportunity to make a real impact in one of London's most dynamic boroughs.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support a team of Occupational Therapists to ensure the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused services.
Lead and monitor service delivery to meet business objectives and promote continuous improvement.
Provide expert advice and guidance on equipment assessments for disabled adults and their carers.
Act as the first point of contact for complex OT queries and service provision.
Identify and manage complex cases requiring longer-term intervention and escalate appropriately.
Contribute actively to the development of a responsive, effective Occupational Therapy service.
Requirements:
Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills within an Adult Social Care setting.
Extensive experience in equipment assessments, manual handling, and person-centred care planning.
Excellent communication and case management skills.
Rate: £36.57 per hour
Location: Hackney, London
Contract: Full-time, locum
