Islington - Duty OT - Adult Social care team Hybrid

We are currently recruiting for a Duty Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Social Care Team in Islington on a hybrid working basis (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).

About the Role: Join a highly supportive and well-established team that places a strong emphasis on staff wellbeing, offering free in-house training for locums, four-weekly supervision, and a manageable caseload. Many of the current locums have remained with the team for over 3 years-a testament to the positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Office/remote-based duty role

Telephone screening assessments of accepted OT referrals

Ordering minor equipment where appropriate (e.g., toilet frames, commodes)

Conducting risk assessments via telephone

Occasional home visits if short-staffed (not routine)

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years post-graduate OT experience

Recent experience in social services

Duty OT experience is essential

Must be available full-time

Please note: CVs with less than 2 years social services experience and no prior duty experience will not be considered.

Rate: £32.02/hr (negotiable for the right candidate)
