Bromley Council is seeking a Locum Senior Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated Children's Social Care team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced OT to support some of our borough's youngest residents, helping to improve their quality of life through specialist assessment and intervention.

About the Role:
As a Senior OT in our Children's Services team, you will:

Carry a specialist caseload focusing on babies and young children under 3 years old.

Complete comprehensive assessments and provide expert recommendations.

Prescribe and issue specialised equipment, such as postural seating and bathing supports.

Work closely with families, carers, and multi-agency professionals to ensure holistic, child-centred support.

Contribute to team development and service delivery, ensuring the highest standards of care.

About You:
We're looking for a candidate who:

Is a qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.

Has significant experience in paediatric OT, particularly with babies and children under 3.

Demonstrates confidence in prescribing specialist equipment and supporting complex needs.

Brings compassion, clinical expertise, and excellent communication skills to their practice.

Can thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a child-first approach.

Contract Details:
Duration: Initial 3-month assignment, with potential for extension.

Rate: Up to £38.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

This role is ideal for a skilled paediatric OT ready to take on a rewarding senior position and make a meaningful impact in children's lives.
