We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Long Term Fieldwork / Child Protection Team in Nottingham City. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need of support and intervention.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Undertaking assessments and developing care plans for children and families
  • Conducting home visits and engaging with service users to understand their needs and circumstances
  • Participating in case conferences and court proceedings as required
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children
  • Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive change and safeguarding

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection and long-term fieldwork
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
