MASH Social Worker - Wolverhampton

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced MASH Social Worker to join our team in Wolverhampton. As a MASH Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable children and adults by assessing and managing risks effectively.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the level of support needed for individuals at risk
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Providing crisis intervention and support to individuals and families in need
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports
  • Participating in case conferences and court proceedings as required

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England
  • Experience working in a MASH or similar setting, with a strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess complex situations effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a demanding caseload efficiently
